With the holidays approaching, I want you to know there are still things happening within this network in December.
Our next live (typed) day time chat event will be on Monday, December 15, 2014 from noon to 1pm and our evening chat will be Monday, December 29, 2014 from 6:30-8PM. This month we will be talking about one of the six findings (see the findings page for more info) from our Lived Experience conversations: Dignity, the ways you have seen it displayed and not displayed in your dementia journey and why it matters. To join in the conversation, just before the chat time, sign on to www.dementiacrossroads.ca, click on the chat page and follow the links. I have made every effort to keep this as simple and user friendly as possible. I hope you’ll join in.
As always, you are invited you to share your thoughts on our discussion boards at www.dementiacrossroads.ca. Also, if you know of an event for seniors and older adults in South Eastern Ontario that you’d like me to share, please let me know. Be sure to tell your friends, colleagues and relatives about the Lived Experience Network and www.dementiacrossroads.ca. I welcome their emails and phone calls.
Wishing all of you a wonderful Christmas season surrounded and supported by your family and friends. I hope to see you in person or online very soon. If you do not wish to be part of this e-newsletter, please email me at email@example.com and I will remove you from the list.
