Holiday Greetings and Upcoming Opportunities

Hello Lived Experience Network Members,

I want to invite you to the next Lived Experience Café Live (typed) Chat event on Tuesday, December 1rst from 6:30- 8:00PM on Please note, we are only holding an evening chat this month, the daytime one will resume in the new year.

Our topic will be: The holidays are approaching. This can be a difficult time for families living with dementia and similar diagnoses. Many of you have been care partners for a very long time. As you reflect on your experiences, what are the needs you have (both physical and emotional) that make you the weariest or keep you up at night? How can the health care system help?

Finally, for those of you who live in the Kingston area, I will be sharing at the Alzheimer Society of KFL&A Conference on Tuesday, December 8th. If you’d like to register or would like more information contact the Kingston Alzheimer Society office at: 613-544-3078 or 1-800-266-7516. (Please note this event was cancelled ).

Wishing you all a wonderful holiday season filled with hope, joy, good friends and family.
